Tired of working from coffee-shops and unsatisfied by the usual co-working spaces, we asked Modern Anthology to design us a loft from scratch.
The brief was simple. We wanted a place for ourselves and people like us: professional but easy going and working in the media and creative industries.
A place we'd love to work from and be proud to bring clients to.
A place where we could be happier and more productive.
And it worked: welcome to Kongo.
FOCUS
The work areas, from open space desks to the conference rooms, were specifically designed to maximize focus and come with high speed Fios internet, printer and land line.
INSPIRATION
With ping pong, bar, Nespresso, fridge, microwave, kitchen among other perks, the common areas were designed to inspire and encourage team spirit.

Dumbo may be the digital heart of New York, but it's also a great place to be: with terrific parks, art galleries, cool neighbors and the best coffee shop in the city.

FLEXIBILITY: designed with start-up and independent professionals in mind, start with a single desk or more and effortlessly grow or reduce your footprint as needed.
DESIGN: the work stations are arranged to enhance mental focus and productivity while the common areas are designed to open the mind and unleash creativity. The perfect me/we balance.
PLUG + PLAY: Everything you need to work is already there and included in your rent. So just bring your computer and you're ready to start.
AMENITIES: include lounge, bar, kitchen, ping-pong, sonos audio system, nespresso, water cooler, couches, fat boys as well as heat, AC, Fios wifi, Apple TV, landlines, printers, conference room with polycoms and white erase boards.

PEOPLE
We try to surround ourselves with the most talented people in NYC: a remarkable mix from complementary areas of the creative industry to stimulate collaboration, growth and great new connections.
Some of our colleagues include an Emmy winning producer, foreign correspondents, film makers, architects and biotechnology writers as well as companies such as Hayo (internet of things start-up), Mini Title (photo agency), Hunny (digital retouchers) and Grata (quantifying financial strategy).

EVENTS
Twice a year we get together for Show+Tell: we open a few bottles and every team presents the best work of the past 6 months. A great way to network, test new ideas and get advice from different disciplines.
We also participate in the Dumbo Arts Festival, hold ping-pong and beer nights as well as film screenings and annual parties.
